Introducing Monty Heath, Director of VIB

Monty Heath joined the U.S. Navy in 1993 to become a SEAL. He proudly served his country for 11 years. During this time he was deployed to multiple war zones and was twice awarded the Bronze Star with Combat Valor Designation. After honorably discharging in 2004, he led the U.S. Navy’s SEAL Mentorship Program and the BUD/S Preparatory Program - the first two steps in the SEAL candidates' training pipeline.

Monty then provided and managed executive protection details for Forbes 400 families, as well as managed a 614,000-acre eco-resort. Monty is passionate about supporting and giving back to the veteran community.

Recently, Monty volunteered his time at the National Veterans Summer Sports Clinic in San Diego. The weeklong event offered adventure sports and recreational activities to veterans who were recently injured.

More than 100 veterans participated in activities such as sailing, surfing, track and field, and Monty’s specialty – cycling. As a VA volunteer, Monty spent his time in the cycling clinic, leading a group of disabled veterans down the sidewalks of San Diego.

  • Participating in VetFran, a strategic initiative of the International Franchise Association.

Why the Franchise Model is Great for Veterans

Supporting Veterans in Business

Running a small business is intricate. We understand that owners would rather spend their time focusing on what matters most – and less time on back office tasks.

We’re making it easier with special pricing for our payroll and HR products – just for veteran-owned business.
